How to Prepare Artwork for Submission
Before you are ready to send artworks:
- You need to join our gallery and to obtain account number; together with the
account number you will be assigned 2-3 letter code to prefix your image
files. To join our gallery, please send an artistic biography with 4-5 artworks
attached. We apologize for not accepting everybody - our art shop has strong
leaning toward professional and well recognized artists. We also ask to send
your photo image to publish on the biography page. Please, send your request
to info@elite-art.com.
- You need to prepare image files in jpeg format, the size must be not less than
600 points in the largest dimension. An appropriate color balance, brightness
and contrast of the image are very important. It might be really disappointing for
a customer, if he or she finds a critical discrepancy between the image and its
original.
How to submit artworks:
- Name your image files starting with the code and adding a sequential number.
It is ok to have gaps in the numbers, if you are not sure which number is the
latest one (look up your exhibition to figure it out). The number for every
painting you have submitted into our gallery must be unique.
- Prepare a text file with description of the images (plain text file is the
best choice using WordPad under MS Windows, for example). There must be one empty
line between image descriptions. Description consists of fields and their
values separated by semicolon ":". The fields are (our comments how to fill these
