Vladimir Tabanin

Vladimir was born in 1934. He graduated from the Repin Art Academy, the creative studio of professor Mylnikov. From 1972 he is a member of Russian Artists Union. He has participated with his painting-works in the Exhibition of the Economy Achievements, where he has received the bronze medal. There were several personal exhibitions of the artist in the cities of St.Petersburg, Moscow, Sochi, Arhangelsk, Krasnojarsk, and also internationally: in France, Finland, Italy, Great Britain and Cuba.
The main direction of his work is so called fixativism: the fixation of some spot, line, mood, consciousness, thought on the canvas by the pencil, water-colors, etc. The artist uses the technique of oil and canvas, and sometimes mixed technique.
