Victor Lozenko was born in 1940 in Kiev, Ukraine.
He fell in love with paintings in his early childhood. Since he was seven years old he began to study fine art, photography and then cinematography at the Fine Arts School in Kiev. He was fifteen when he took private lessons from famous Ukrainian artists at their studios. At the same time he worked at the National Ukrainian Theater as a stage designer. In 1959 he was admitted to Tbilisi Fine art Academy in Georgia. Two years later he returned to Kiev to get engineering Diploma at the Polytechnic College. At the same time he studied Philosophy in Kiev State University.
In 1970 - 1985 he worked as an engineer at the Ukrainian Science Academy. During that period he was invited to some International Scientific Congresses in Prague and Dusseldorf. But he never stopped to do his art work. In the same time he made designs of ex libris (artistic bookplates) and stamps and paricipated in numerous art exibitions in Ukraine.
In 1987 - 1994 he traveled a lot to gather new impressions for his artworks. he visited Crimean Peninsula, Caucasus and Carpathian Mountains, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Hungary. Victor always was interested in Oriental Art. He made his first voyage to India and Ceylon in 1985 and the second in 1988 hiking his tour through Himalayas. Same year he traveled to Egypt.
In 1995 Victor and his family have moved to Germany. He lives in Gelsenkirchen now and continues to work as a freelance artist. Since 2000 he became a member of Artists Alliance ''Verwertungsgesellschaft Bild - Kunst''
