Time goes by, but our sense of loss is not lessening. Elena's beautiful mind, wit and incredible soul touched so many people that we simply cannot accept the fact... She was only 34 when we lost her. We are asking the same question again and again: "Why the best people have to go so early?".

The concept of Elite Contemporary Art Gallery was created and nourished by Elena. The gallery represents an outstanding and growing group of artists. First started in St.Petersburg (Russia), this network spread across the globe. I am dedicated to the preservation of Elite Art as a valuable resource for art lovers and artists alike.

There is a shared sense of Elena's continuing presence in our lives. She knew so much about this world... maybe too much. Elena's main accomplishment was just to be with us, and help us to see further. And we see further now, because of her influence. Elena gave me an incredible gift of unconditional love. It happens so rarely on this planet. So few of us are lucky to live through it.

Elena's life was taken so suddenly and unexpectedly during the birth of our baby boy Alexei that most endeavors have been left unfinished. A few of our friends asked me to establish online a fund in Elena's memory. Initially, this fund can help Elena's three children to go through the difficult times. But later, it can also help us to realize Elena's ideas and dreams. In my opinion, this fund is not about money, - it is about our memory. What happened is an unrecoverable loss for me: I cannot return the happiness of our life, and I cannot restore our family. What I can do is to raise our children and to live the life Elena would be proud of. Immediately following tragic events in the end of October, 2003 I received contributions from many people who were shocked by the news. I would like to say Thank You! to all the people who helped me to make final arrangements.
